“DON’T BE A PAWN”

StaleMate is a Chess term used for a game ending in a tie in which no moves are left without putting yourself in Checkmate. But a tie in which both Kings are left standing while usually there are mass casualties on both sides namely the Pawns. Pawns hold no power and are the Kings front line and first to engage in battle and usually first to die all while outnumbering the King 8 to 1 and also outnumber all other pieces on the board. The Pawns real strength is in its numbers. 

Todays click bait face paced media landscape uses overhyped sensantionalized headlines to fight over our attenation for revenue and social media giants driven by profits form algorithms that feed us steady diets of outrage on demand and it can feel overwhelming until you turn it off . we’ve been split into groups of Men vs women, black vs white, republican vs democrat, almost every postition you hold someone has  an opposing position and imaginary battle lines are drawn and we lost the power to see eachother as neighbors with different views but rather as enimes we must confront. StaleMate is the belief that neither side of any battle is without loss - and often at the expense of those with the least, the pawns. let kings fight their own battles the game is over if we refuse to play - “Don‘t be a Pawn”
